I find patterns when analyzing my thoughts and emotions. After high productivity, I often enter a period (sometimes a few days, sometimes a whole week or more) of ‘headspace moments.’ In these moments, I don’t listen to podcasts; I draw all my thoughts on my iPad and am always lost in thought.
My challenge is to build patterns of focus and discipline to keep more control and break the circle of negative, unproductive work and feelings. The headspace moment period is good to reflect, but I must be careful that it is not the start of a negative period afterward.
I love the excalidraw plugin in Obsidian to draw out ideas and thoughts.
My weak third pattern
No one can be perfect every day, and that's okay. I can, however, limit or prevent the negative fallout from my third pattern with discipline.
Sometimes, I must let go of my perfectionism. It is okay if something is not perfect. It is not a black-and-white story. Give all you can.
